Those alumni of previous Alaska trips with the Kentucky Wounded Heroes will remember the Salmon Catcher Lodge and the hospitality and generosity of owner Terry Johnson.  On 11 September Terry’s son Adrian was traveling to Ninilchik when he hit a moose that had wandered onto the road.  The photo shows the catastrophic damage that resulted from the collision.  Adrian was airlifted to an Anchorage hospital with serious extensive injuries.  He is currently in critical condition, dealing with severe brain trauma and major facial fractures among other injuries.  Please consider helping the family with rapidly rising medical costs by donating at this GoFundMe page.
