Day of Fishing and Fish Fry at Taylorsville Lake – CANCELLED

Kentucky Wounded Heroes is hosting a fishing event at Taylorsville Lake on Aug 26, 2023. Those who have a boat and would like to come out and fish and enjoy camaraderie with fellow KY Wounded Heroes, please contact the POC located at the bottom. This event is a meet and greet, followed by a day of fishing and closing with refreshments,  burgers, and hot dogs.  You will meet at 0800 at the Possum Ridge boat ramp and fish until 1500. The Possum Ridge ramp is in the main park of Taylorsville Lake, located off KY 248, just west of Briar Ridge.  After fishing concludes (1500), we will meet back at the pavilion for refreshments, hamburgers, and hotdogs (condiments and chips also provided) for the participants and their families. Any fish caught that the person does not want to keep, may be donated to the Kentucky Wounded Heroes Wild Game Dinner 2024.
