Day of Fishing and Fish Fry at Taylorsville Lake – CANCELLED

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS.

There will be a fishing event for people that have boats and would like to come out and fish on April 22 at Taylorsville Lake. It’s just a meet and greet where we’ll fish throughout the day.  We’ll plan on meeting at 0800 at the Possum Ridge boat ramp and fish till 1500.  The Possum Ridge ramp is in the main park, located off KY 248, just west of Briar Ridge.  Afterwards, we’ll clean the fish and have a small fish fry for the participants and their families. Any fish left over that the person does not want to take home will be donated to the Kentucky Wounded Heroes Wild Game Dinner for next year. This is just an informal event to get people off the couch and hook up with some other veterans, say hi to your brothers and sisters, and build friendships with new people.  If anyone does not have a boat and would like to fish, they can contact Buck Parker and he will try to pair you up with a boat.  Also, please contact Buck if you plan to attend.  Buck can be reached at:  606.367.1410
